# How to change the database connected to a form?

Changing the database connected to your form is very simple.

1. Head over to [NoteForms.com](NoteForms.com), log in, and click on the form that you want to edit.
2. Click **Edit Form**.
3. In the form editor, click **Settings** at the top of the page.
4. Under **General**, click the database link below **Notion Database**.
5. Select the database you want to connect.

### If your existing database does not appear

If NoteForms asks to create a new database, or your existing database is missing from the picker, the database is usually not connected or shared correctly yet.

Try the following:

1. Make sure you selected a database before building or publishing the form.
2. Disconnect and reconnect the workspace or database connection if needed.
3. Re-share the Notion database with the NoteForms integration.
4. Then return to the form settings and select the database again.

### Important

Only saved and published forms can be reopened later. If you leave the editor before publishing, unsaved form changes cannot be recovered.
