# How to change the time format of my date field (am/pm)?

The default time format uses the 24 hours format. You can change this to use the am/pm 12 hours format. Here's how:

1. Open the form editor
2. Open the input settings for your date field (by clicking the blue cog)
3. In the date options section, enable the am/pm 12 hours format option
4. Save your form
