How to Add CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA to Your NoteForms?

This feature is only available for Pro and Team plan subscribers.

To prevent bots from responding to your forms and ensure that submissions come from real users, you can enable CAPTCHA or reCAPTCHA protection for your forms in NoteForms. Here's how to set it up:

Steps to Enable Bot Protection

Open the Form Editor:

Navigate to the form you wish to protect and open it in the editor.
Access Security Settings:

Click on Settings in the form editor menu.

Select the Security & Access section.
Enable Bot Protection:

Toggle on the Bot Protection option.
Choose a Protection Type:

Select either reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha as your preferred bot protection method.

Quick Explanation: CAPTCHA vs. reCAPTCHA

Both CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA are designed to block automated bots, but they differ in functionality:

CAPTCHA: A general test that requires users to solve tasks like typing distorted text or solving puzzles. It ensures human interaction but can be more challenging for users.
reCAPTCHA: A more advanced solution developed by Google that uses AI and behavioral analysis. It often requires minimal effort from users, such as clicking "I'm not a robot" or identifying objects in images, and may work invisibly in the background.

Tips for Choosing the Right Option

For Better Usability: Use reCAPTCHA. It is user-friendly and offers seamless protection.
For Open-Source Preference: Consider hCaptcha if you prefer a solution not tied to Google services.
