How to Deactivate a Form in NoteForms?

Sometimes you may need to stop collecting new responses—for example, after an event ends or when you’ve reached your submission limit. In NoteForms, you can easily deactivate a form so it no longer accepts new submissions.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the form in the Form Edit page.
2. Click on Settings in the upper left corner.
3. Under Form Visibility, select Closed – won’t accept new submissions.
4. (Optional) Add a custom message under Closed form text to explain why the form is closed.
5. Click Save changes in the upper right corner.

Your form will now be closed, and anyone visiting the link will see your custom message instead of being able to submit. This ensures you stay in control of when and how responses are collected.
