Where is my "relation" field/column?

There are two things required for the relation property to be used in your form:

  1. In order for them to work you need to ensure that the related table is also shared with our integration. Notion only shares with us the existence of a relation only if we have access to both tables. Click here to Share a Notion DB on the right side of the page.

  1. You should also make sure that the relation exists on both tables ("Show on 'Related table' "). The column can be hidden from the related table but it must exist.

Relation should show on both databases

If the relation field still does not populate after reconnecting the databases, open the relation field settings in NoteForms and update the field to the latest format using the option shown on the right side.

If you see errors such as "Form error loading relation" or "Failed to fetch", reconnect the related database first. If the database is connected but the relation still uses a previous format, update the relation field from its settings and test the form again.

You can also choose to display either the title, text, URL or phone number of the related field.
