Why can't I preview the uploaded images in Notion?

Notion official API does not currently support file uploads. Therefore, we need to upload the file ourselves. When a new file is submitted to your form, we need to send the file URL to Notion. In order for Notion to be able to retrieve the file, it needs to be publicly accessible - which is disabled by default for all forms created after the 21st of May 2024.

If you would like to be able to preview images in Notion, you can make the file uploads in your form publicly accessible. Here's how to proceed:

Open the form editor for you form
Click on Settings from the top of the page.
Click to the Security & Access from the left side of the screen.
Disable the "Upload file privately" option

That's it, you will then be able to see and preview images right into your Notion database.
