To create your first database view:

  1. Log into NoteForms
  2. In your dashboard, click “Create a view” under Database Views.

  1. Select your desired database.
  2. Customize your view, preview it, and save your changes.

You can customize your view in many different ways so it meets your needs better:

  • Adjust the layout, alignment, and width of the view
  • Add a title and description
  • Change the theme
  • Enable transparent background
  • Remove NoteForms branding
  • Decide if your view will be indexable by Google or not
  • Add password protection
  • Add custom code, and more

Managing and Viewing Your Data

Once shared with your users, they can easily view, manage, and control the database through a simplified and organized interface.

Here’s what you can do within your database view:

  • Table Controls – The table layout is designed for clarity and ease of use.
  • Column Filters – Show or hide columns based on your preference. You can also pin columns to the left or enable/disable text wrapping for a cleaner view.
  • Zoom Options – Zoom in or out to adjust the view to your comfort.
  • Quick Search – Use the search bar at the top-right corner to instantly find specific data — no need to scroll through long tables.

Filtering Data in a Database View

Filtering data is easy with NoteForms. You can control exactly what appears in your view by adding conditions or rules.

To set up filters:

  1. Go to the Edit Database View page.
  2. On the left side, click “Add rule.”
  3. Set the conditions to determine when specific rows should appear in your table.

This flexible, rule-based filtering helps you display only the data that matters most.
